OUR EDITORIAL APPROACH

Useful words.
Evidence you can check.

Start with the question

Each resource should answer a distinct question or help you prepare for a practical next step. We use plain language and make the purpose clear.

Show the evidence

Health explanations link to independent research and public health sources. We distinguish established findings from uncertainty, and do not present a symptom as a diagnosis.

Review before release

Our publishing workflow requires editorial approval. Content containing clinical claims also requires a named clinical reviewer. We display a reviewer only when that person has reviewed the published version.

Be clear about assistance

We may use AI to help research, organise and draft content. Human review is required before release. Sources, claims and links must be checked.

Keep the record clear

Substantive edits require a new review. Publication and update dates describe real changes. We keep a version history so corrections can be traced.
